Last Thursday I had the pleasure of launching my new children's picture book A Simply Spectacular hat, written by the fantabulous Libby Gleeson. Thankyou to Vanessa C, Belinda Scott and Trevor Veale (Coffs Coast Advocate), our hosts at Three Bear Cottage - Coffs Harbour NSW, and Darren, for the pitch perfect reading! Also big MWAH to one of my besties Jodie for moral support, lunch buddy, and fellow op shop trawler! What a joy to illustrate, loved every moment of it. The Cancer Council of Australia were responsible for the commission of this book, and in the new year we will be working on SunSmart merchandise using the books artwork.
